Performs a chi-squared difference test comparing a less constrained (free) MAX SDT model to a more constrained (nested) model. Both models must be fitted to the same data.
Details
The chi-squared difference statistic is: $$\Delta\chi^2 = \chi^2_{\text{constrained}} - \chi^2_{\text{free}}$$ with degrees of freedom equal to the difference in the number of free parameters. A significant result indicates that the constraint worsens fit. The fits must use identical counts and lineup sizes, must have converged, and the constrained model must impose every constraint in the free model plus at least one additional constraint.
